What does "Smarr" stand for?
Actually, "Smarr" is the name of
the small Georgia town where we had lived at the time of the founding of the company.
The location of Smarr, Georgia, is on U.S. 41--Dixie Highway--between Forsyth and Bolingbroke.
The town has a post office, an United Methodist Church, and a landscaping business.
Smarr's only claim to fame is Rosebud Christmas Tree farm. Smarr is named after William Smarr
who climbed aboard the first train between Barnesville and Macon in 1838.
