A Student's Companion to
The Mouse That Roared (Leonard Wibberley)
Study guide compatible with any edition of the text
On-line ordering for text

Eleven (11) Lessons

Once you start reading The Mouse That Roared, you will sense the author's belief that small nations are ignored completely by the more powerful empires like the United States and the former Soviet Union. Any people with a common heritage and tradition have the right to exist and to be left unmolested by the bullies who play in the global arena. Indeed, Wibberley’s chief concern centers on the manufacturing of weapons of mass destruction which are capable of destroying not only those engaged in warfare, but also those small nations which have no quarrel with those in the conflict. The empires do not consider the smaller nations at all nor do they care to consider them. Typical of all bullies on the block, empires are very selfish and conscious only of preserving their existence at the expense of everyone else. Small nations may be useful as buffer zones, but nothing more. However, Wibberley proposes an interesting solution for ending the production of WMD.

Package includes study guide, answer keys, and vocabulary quizzes.
